Gather ‘Round is back at the Lion in 2025! SA’s very own Festival of Footy begins on the 10th of April between the Crows and Cats at Adelaide Oval and a blockbuster from Port and Hawthorn on Sunday will wrap up proceedings.
The Lion Hotel is your North Adelaide hub for all things footy, hosting events including yet another block party, siren-siren specials, current and former player guest speakers, giveaways and more!
Q&A SESSION
Catch the Power-ful trio of Captain Connor Rozee, JHF the Hornet, and the raging bull that is Zac Butters live at the Lion! Alberton’s engine room are visiting us at the Lion Hotel for Q&A session on Gather ‘Round Eve before their matchup against the full-of-flair Hawks on Sunday afternoon. Grab a quick bite in the bistro or enjoy an early restaurant dinner beforehand!
LION BLOCK PARTY
The Lion Hotel is hosting an array of events over Gather ‘Round weekend – headlined by our annual Block Party. From 3pm on Friday our carpark will be transformed into a Footy Festival.
Don’t miss the legendary Peter Daicos appearing at the Lion live and free – as well as two days of live music, outdoor bars and food stalls – and of course, live action on the big screens.
This weekend will be one to remember.
CROWS V CATS LIVE & LOUD
Gather ‘Round kicks off with the pride of South Australia taking on Geelong at Adelaide Oval. Catch the Crows live at the Lion – and if you’re in any team kit we’ll buy your first beer! It doesn’t have to be the red, blue and yellow, all supporters are encouraged to rep their side and soak up SA’s love for football.
PETER DAICOS INTERVIEW
We’re bringing the footy fever with a live appearance from footy great Peter Daicos on Friday, April 11 at 5:30PM.
Come down early—car park activation starts at 3PM with live music, delicious food, and plenty of drinks flowing from our outside bars.
